Incorrect. The whole problem is that the minecart physics were supposed to have wholly been revetered. The normal minecarts behave as before, however the furnace minecarts retains their 14w11 glitchiness.
Apologies if I didn't not make that clear enough in the description. If you set up a track as shown in the picture above, you can replicate the problem in the latest snapshot. Furthermore, it's relatively easy to see that they haven't been reverted by the way they "bounce" off of each other, something that didn't happen prior to 14w11.
