It appears this error is mistakenly shown whenever a command is executed with a selector that can't find anything. If I had to guess, I'd say a selector that finds nothing evaluates into Null or some such value, and is then, regardless of this, used as a UUID for the command, resulting in an "invalid UUID format" error. And yes, it is still an issue in 14w30c.
