I have the same issue in 1.14.2 - no mods, no resource packs. Started today. All chest textures just vanished. I noticed an unusually time loading my Singleplayer world, not sure if it is related. All my local worlds are affected, so it seems to be a rendering issue. Is there a way to check my local files and re-download broken pieces (similar to the steam feature)?

Closing the Game entirely and relaunching through the launcher seems to have removed the issue for now.
