A quick update for 1.17.41:

I can now run the game when forcing the Intel HD630, so yeah❓

The behavior when using my discreet graphics card (Radeon Pro WX 4130) is now the same as what I encountered in the beta. Red and Black flashing screen.

I'm still not able to run Minecraft, but did try some new items.

  1. Removed Dell drivers for Intel HD630 drivers and installed latest intel drivers.
    No change in behavior 

  2. installed the 1.18 beta

  • On first start up The application loads but the Mojang splash screen is never displayed.  The screen flashes from Red to Black

  • If I start with no configured graphics settings of graphics settings set to either let Windows decide or high performance (Radeon Pro WX 4130 21.Q3) this is the encountered behavior.

  • If I set graphics settings for Minecraft to power saving forcing the intel HD630 The beta starts and runs as well as it can for that video card.

Thank you Dr.Awesome4333 for the response. I intended to use the bug tracker for posting bugs and assisting in bug reports, it's just that this one caught me off as a tad strange how it's even still in the game - apologies for any inconvenience or if I wasted anyone's time. Massive thank you as well for the recommendations - I'll definitely look into those! 👍

You can delete my comment if you want, but I still have hope that the Minecraft development team is capable of understanding that the lack of pausing is not only a big issue for the game in general but is also a Java feature as well that should be added so that Minecraft: Bedrock reach the "Universal" version that it's set out to be.

I genuinely tried to show some support and want features like this added to the game so that people will be happy - I even said that if the team is so busy that working on this feature (or any feedback site based feature) is too inconvenient at this time, that they tell the community why their suggestions aren't being attended to yet.

If this comment is deleted again, that's fine - I tried. Some people are being seriously unappreciative of what the game has achieved right now, and I don't want that to be the message the community sends to Mojang/Microsoft. If the comment is deleted, can I at least have a reason why please? If not I will delete my account and simply stop playing Bedrock edition.

I also just downloaded two from the 'Education Collection' and neither of those show up either.

I agree this is unfortunate. This exact inverse of this bug for the java edition was resolved as works as intended. The large majority of tutorials are for the java edition and won't translate to this new version. Finally our Xbox one console world, should you ever be able to successfully update it is going to be hosed.
