No. I have a xbox game pass account that I play Minecraft on my PC with. It's usually just me on the account though once in a great while I invite my sibling to come see what I've built. He also has a game pass account so I am able to invite him as a guest.
No, he can't get into my world without my invite and he's usually only on long enough to check out a new build. I was looking around and it looks like it happened with the 1.18 version but they said it was fixed but didn't say how.
