Attached picture was after minecart disappeared. I replaced minecart and screenshot. Minecart sitting on power rail not powered. I cannot not make it happen on demand.
mmm, I guess commenting reopens bug.
I see this bug is resolved, I guess that means it was fixed. I will try working with minecarts again. Did a fix come out in that update a few days back?

Lost 4 minecarts w/hoppers, running back and forth on 14 rail sections. Sugarcane farm.I kept replacing minecart and kept loosing them . New to the game and thought I was doing something wrong.
Testing cart climbing hills: I took a ride a few times, went to check on something, came back and cart is gone.
Testing cart climbing hills: did not leave cart alone. Broke it every time I need to leave. Pushing mineacart and it disappeared in my hands. Magic!
sorry to have bothered you, I am new to the game(3 weeks) and did not understand that I was on a non-vanilla server.
