Restarting the game does not work, and it is the random spwan I am really worried about. If I lose all my things, it may be a pain in the neck, but I can get that all back. My spot? not so much. I appreciate everyone's input though.

Actually, now that I have read the other issue, we are not talking about the same thing. I do not experience any lag. The animals simply walk away even when i have their food out. It has nothing to do with wheat. Perhaps I read the wrong report? I clinked on the link in your comment.
