As Arin mentioned, the issue has not been fixed. The other issues that are linked to this one are marked as solved becouse blazes no longer shoot fire balls in the direction of the player, even if there is a wall between them. What this issue is about are the blazes floating in the closest block to the player even if there is a wall, instead of ignoring them and resuming normal pathfinding.
The next update is a nether update, so this is one of the changes they should make.
Accordingly to the wiki: "Blazes target players within 48 blocks. If a blaze is damaged by a player or other mob, it alerts other blazes within 48 blocks to target the attacker."
This is what is happening in the game, but this behaviour doesn't make sense as blazes behind a wall can't hit the player.
As mentioned by David Wong, blaze farms are now completely useless as they float instead of getting inside the well known "hopper".
Go to the options menu, enter the resource packs tab, disable it and post feedback.
It seems like the new snapshots are improving performance, at least for me. It seems to have fewer lag spikes.
