Solution:
1) Right click on the launcher and then properties.
2) Go to compatibilities and "run this program in compatibility mode for:" (activate ✓)
3) Change "Windows 8" to "Windows Vista (service pack 2), Apply and accept.
4) The launcher will change to the previous version but this will make Minecraft work.
5) Place mail and Password choose the correct Version to play minecraft and "play"
