Yeah that pretty much describes the issue, sorry I didn't see that report.

It's on Xbox, and I tried my wifi and router. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Both my brother and I had a similar issue: our custom skins weren't saving and wouldn't load into worlds or servers if they did save.
