The dirt blocks in this screenshot would not disappear even after I detonated all around it. You can break the blocks.
I had the same problem with lava and water. See attached photo. When the lava and water meet, it causes a lot of smoke, which crashes Minecraft.
I also experienced this issue on a Nexus 7, android 4.3
I just retested after upgrading to 0.8.0 bld. 4 and it now works as expected. You can close this as fixed.
