I've got this issue in a vanilla Minecraft server, seems to be related to chunks as I can get the thunder to trigger when crossing a chunk boundary.

Description: Player with channeling trident crosses chunk boundary, thunder sounds occurs and screen flashes accordingly. Attempting to hit a mob with the trident does not summon lightning. Particles are set to "all" so rain would be visible if it was occurring.

Yup looks like it, sorry for the duplicate post then. Guess I didn't look hard enough.

Also noticed this occurs in 1.15.2 & 1.16 rc-1. When expanding a map (in a crafting table or cartography table) the map's scale in the tooltip of the output slot does not change.

What I expected to happen was...:

When expanding a map, the tooltip of the output slot should show a preview of the final product.

What actually happened was...:

Map output tooltip scale is unchanged however confirming the change produces the correct result. For example, expanding a "Scaling at 1:1" map shows a "Scaling at 1:1" map in the output tooltip but clicking to confirm the change (taking out the map to the inventory) produces a "Scaling at 1:2" map.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Get a map (one that is not max scale and has some land shown)

  2. Expand the map (using one paper in a cartography table or eight paper in a crafting table)

  3. ❌ Output tooltip shows wrong scale

  4. ✅ Increased scale map is made when clicking on output item

What I expected to happen was...:
Fishing Line renders above the water & boat "layers"

What actually happened was...:
Fishing line renders below the water layer but above the boat layer.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a boat in water

2. Cast fishing line near the boat

3. Move so that the line of the fishing rod intersects with the boat
