I've also found this glitch/bug in my world. The fox in question would adapt the skin of the nearest entity, which looked really weird. It was in a creative world, near a Taiga, and I was running Minecraft Pocket Edition, on a multiplayer world (I do not know if it was a LAN game or not, because I had friended the person who was hosting the world) running version v1.16.40. I will happily provide any other information that is needed to solve this problem.
