Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. I checked and my old launcher for minecraft was set in 1.5.2, but when I went back there and tried, the text still vanished. Btw, it's actually only when I switch from creative to survival, not the other way around, that it vanishes. Doesn't really matter though since it vanishes when I quit too. Looks like I'm just gonna have to make a new world. Maybe it had problems cuz I kept it around through so many versions. There's approximately 100-200 blocks just on the surface that still belong to version 1.4 something, so...idk. I'm sure that doesn't help things, probably makes random glitches start to occur. Thanks for suggesting that, though. I feel like there isn't any good reason it didn't work, but...oh well. And idk anything about why that happened to you, though that sucks.
