I have the same issue also, using PS4 controller, android 4.4.2, MCPE 0.15.0 alpha build 3. L2 controls rotate, unpressed it rotates to the left, R2 controls Y-Axis, left unpressed looks up, if I invert Y-Axis Steve looks down at the ground, Fully pressing L2 rotates to the right and finding the middle pinch point will stop the rotate, same goes for R2.
