I'm experiencing the exact same issue after the latest Bedrock update. FPS is locked at around 71-72 no matter what I do. I have an RTX 3080 and a 180Hz monitor, and Java Edition runs perfectly with very high FPS. I've also tried reinstalling the game, resetting settings, disabling G-SYNC, and removing FPS limits, but nothing helped. A few of my friends started having the same problem right after the update as well. This definitely seems related to the latest Bedrock release rather than individual system settings.
