i presume the bug was either in the realms software (server side) or possibly just a glitch in the world data for the particular realm as it sort of resolved itself after a few days. i know others were able to teleport no problem just not me, not sure if it affected anyone else tho. i tried every couple days, then all of the sudden it works. maybe data was overwritten during that time and the glitch was fixed. either way i have been unable to reproduce this glitch since those few days in which it affected me
i believe the glitch occurred and stopped before the next update was released which is why i am guessing data error, or (if server side realms software is updated seperately) possibly server software bug...
Im on realm Windows 10 1.9 and I got stuck in pitch blackness. was suffocating until I ate food, somehow eating caused me to fall out into darkness...
