Having searched for existing issues and through the duplicates I have found this ticket. Resolution "Works as intended". I find it really inconsistent for a Magma block to cause heat damage, glow with incandescent heat and yet have absolutely no effect on snow and ice. I know this has been marked resolved as "works as intended" but are you really sure this should be the intended behaviour?
