Updates for this issue:
-Ten skins are invisible
-Also present in the 13.0 update on Bedrock for the Nintendo Switch
I've aslo attached a video of the missing skins.
[media]I'm not sure whats going on, but bedrock is exteremly broken. There are so many glitches and rendering issues and it seems like not one of them are being addressed. They keep being updated over them which makes the problems worse and creates new ones. At this point, I don't know if I can play Minecraft anymore if this is how it's going to be with Bedrock for now on.
How can we get some one to report this to Mojang? I still can’t use my skin. This is getting ridiculous.
@themythmaster This is exactly what's happening to me, but on the Switch. I own the Redstone specialists pack and I tend to wear the trapper skin, but only five of the twelve skins are showing up for me. If you figure out a way to fix this, please, please, let me know.
Thanks!
As an update, my sister is also experiencing the zoomed-in menu screen and is having problems with loading the game due to a delay in her skin not being able to load even though she can see it.
Should we expect a fix or should I start asking for a refund? I’m still not able to play with my sister online and my Nintendo subscription has mostly went to waste.
Yes. At least for me and my sister.
The lagging and the freezing aren’t as bad anymore, but they’re still happening pretty frequently, especially with interacting with chest UI and placing down blocks. There is also the bug again where your llamas will follow another llama, and still try to follow them after putting them on a leash. The game is also still crashing for both my sister and I. The message that comes up is (something along the lines of): Software closed due to error or we get communication errors.
We’ve been playing the world online, and the online bug issue with connecting with worlds is still there, so I’m not sure if it’s causing our issue. But I’ve seen an improvement in the lagging and freezing, but like I said before, it’s still happening frequently and so are the crashes.
@Auldrick : I’m not sure, but I asked my sister and she says she thinks she’s been frozen when it’s happened or there was a drop in frame rate, but the disconnection usually happened when I first loaded into the game, but I think you may be right because the times it didn’t disconnect when I’ve loaded in game, it most likely happened during the saving process which did frame drop the game. Unfortunately no, our multiplayer is a mess. We can’t connect regularly through online because of another bug Mojang has yet to fix, and local isn’t stable enough for any real gameplay.
Is this issue going to be able resolved? It’s still affecting me and my sister in 1.11.4. I’m waisting money because I can’t play online with Minecraft because the bedrock team at Mojang hasn’t done anything to fix the issue.
Did they ever fix the disconnection issue with Switch? The frame rate fix is great. I’m happy it’s been improved, but the game is still unplayable if we disconnect every two minutes within loading into the game as well as being unable to use our online subscription because Switches won’t connect with each other.
Nothing has improved in 1.11.4. The home screen is freezing and becoming stuck as well as the skins are still being reset after each log out. The store is also freezing and becoming stuck.
1.11.0 made everything worse. I’ve disconnected from my sister and I’s world playing both local and online. The game crashed because of the freezing, and has disconnected me from the internet even though I’m still connected when J return to the Switch home screen. We are still having the issue with not being able to connect to the world using the online network (I experience this the most since the world is on her account).
What are you doing bedrock team? Some of these issues have been going on since 1.6.0 back in October or so of 2018, and all people have been met with are radio silence. Please do something.
My sister and I are experiencing both bug issues with the online multiplayer bug for Switch and the extreme lag, especially with the UI. This however has been happening for us since 1.8.0 or so. The lag occurs in local play as well. It’s been so severe at times my game has crashed and closed because of an error. It’s also affecting chuck loading. I’ve waited as long as one minute for the world to load the next part of the terrain; we’ve even reduce our rendering distance. Nothing is working and the game is barely playable.
This is still happening in 1.10.0.
This is the description of my original report:
When I try to load into my sister’s world and vis-versa, we can't connect online. It will show connecting to server and then show and unable to connect message. The problem is, it's only happening between my sister and I's switches. We were able to connect to her friends world without any problems.
We've troubleshooted in every way we know and what has been suggested. We've contacted our internet provider, checked our NAT types, reset and hard reset our Switches. Archived the game and redownloaded it, and contacted Nintendo and Mojang customer service. We are able to play other multiplayer games together like Splatoon 2, but not Minecraft. We noticed the problem after the version 1.7.0 update.
Please help. This has become extremely frustrating.
The connection takes longer than this (one minute or so) before the error message pops up, but for the sake of file restrictions, I made the video shorter.
The version in the video is 1.9.0
By the way, I’m only experiencing this issues between mine and my sister’s switches. I can connect to my other friends multiplayer worlds just fine and they are also on bedrock Minecraft Switch as well.
This is still happening in the 1.9.0 update that just came out for the Switch. I have the issue with switch to switch when online, but it’s only with my sister’s switch and game. I can connect to my other friends just fine.
Please fix this! Playing on Local is messing up our world.
Thanks~
Happened to my sister I after the 1.7.0 update. Still going on. Super frustrating.
I still haven’t been able to play with my sister in almost over a year with this issue. Something needs to be done ASAP. May be a petition, something to get their attention on this matter.
