As the Linux launcher doesn't bundle Java, this should still be addressed. Java 8 is the requirement, but 11 still works perfectly fine (except for this bug, maybe others). As time goes on, Minecraft still eventually upgrade Java versions, and this issue will arise again

It should go like so:

Display exact username's profile
Then
Display non-exact (other caps) username's profile

Matthew has a point. When looking up for a name, it will return all profiles with the same name, even if not the same caps.

Umm... texture pack? Or just a graphics bug.

This is a very minor bug. Could be fix very easily.

Yup! Confimed bug! 🙂

Picture please. I thing this is a generation bug.

Please join a picture or more details.

This is kinda not a bug because it will still render as it hits a mob, so it decrease the durability and make the sword break. So it could be fix but this is not a bug.

Im pretty sure this is not a bug. At lease a very minor bug.

I expirienced that to a couple times on a 1.4/1.4.1/1.4.2 server. Bug

Isaw that when testing TNT canons in 1.4.2. This is when prime TNT get out of loaded chunks

Its Herobrine again... jeb_ didn't say he removed it in 1.4.2

No but really this is really a bug. Thanks!

This is a bug in the way mobs are coded. The minecraft make them appeare as their but technicly not. Then reloging make minecraft check if their position is right. Minor bug.

This is normal. The picture path is linked up to the screenshot 000-00-00_00.00.00.png. Every file on your hard drive has a local URL. Not really a bug but could be improved.

This is NOT a Minecraft bug nor a Mac bug. Its just the way the laucher is made with Java.
If works on Full Screen.
I just rebind it to X for easy access.

Confimed. Half Bug (Minor)

I know this really is annoying. Tough just putting a demo timer on the whole launcher could fix this.

The stair glitch is not Mac related, its just in the video rendering of Minecraft. I have a new Mac and a Windows and same on both. Video bug (Minor)

IF the laucher has more memory, the Java game inside will use the memory. So more RAM for it is better.

Also try these video settings:
Fast,
Normal/Short
VSync: ON
Particle: Decrese/Minimal
Smooth lighing: OFF
Performance: Max FPS/Banlace

If still lagging, give more details on RAM, GPU, CPU, etc
