I can verify this on new iPad Air. Foggy on both the realm I own and my single player world. I have no other performance issues despite warning. Would like to see terrain with no fog.

Happening to me too, about 4 to 5 times now, though length of game play is variable, but usually within 1 hour. Seems to be since last hotfix.
happening to me too on my ipad air 2, but not in my iphone 7. Restarting ipad does not help. I think it has been happening since the last hotfix. On my ipad i can’t even open the marketplace.
Any idea why this is happening?
Same here. I am signed in to my microsoft account. Restarted minecraft. Can’t access anything I bought on the market place. Please fix!
Happned to me too just now. Couldn’t trade with him either. He was motionless until I hit him, then he flew straight up into the air. 1.10.0 on ipad on realms.
I have been having this issue as well. I did find a work around. A large pool around my initial spawn point (which is where I was always dropped) worked for me. Dropped from the sky and did not lose anything. That was my issue. Happened to me about 10 times where I either see myself falling or it just comes to the “you died” screen. I was frustrated because I would get close to level 30 experience, then get dropped from the sky while loading the game and lose most of my experience levels. Did not want to delete my seed. Had too much work into it. A copy of my seed did the same thing the original did anyways. I found my initial spawn point by reloading the same seed again and writing down the coordinates. I play in an Ipad. Hope this helps.

I actually had a thought. I built a big pool over my spawn point and filled it with water. Hopefully it works!
Can’t even see the mountains half the time on a new iPad Air until you are right next to them. Render distance is set to 13 chunks which according to Minecraft can cause performance issues. I have had zero problems with gameplay. The render distance is less than half of what it was prior to 1.18. Unacceptable; not nearly as fun to play. I think we should be able to try higher render distances, then if our devices can’t handle it, we can decide to turn it down on our own. Shouldn’t have to have a gamer pc to be able to get a half ways decent render distance. The decrease in render distance was overkill.
