Just got this bug! On a friends multiplayer realm, with quite a few days of work with villagers, horses, golems, wolves etc. all secured in areas with leashes / gates and name tagged and as I returned from my travels and my friend returned from the nether, all of these things had subsequently despawned. I assume not, but I was hoping there would be some kind of temporary fix (such as reloading to a previous version). This occurred on the Windows 10 edition with only us in game.
