Im not really sure what the Mod comments mean, but you still can't open 1.7.2 on a mac

I had another friend with a mac try to load 1.7.2 and he got the same error message, but my friend with a pc loaded it fine. Something must be wrong with 1.7.2, macs, and the new launcher.
