I am having this same issue with my game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice. I have tried playing older versions and still the walking and sprint cycles keep stopping. In creative mode I can't even fly because holding down jump button to go up will eventually cause my in game character to fall back down. I am playing version 1.13.
