Is this the same issue? Mine only started happening with the 1.16 updates.
I made world maps back in 0.10.4-0.16 days and ever since the 1.16 updates, every time I redownload the copies of my old maps, they are all broken. I'm on 1.16.10 and iOS 13.1.3

He means when a player is on fire, the burning animations are wrong. I think Tomasso said something about it being like that for VR

What kind of device are you using? Operating system of that device?(iOS version or Android version)
I'm pretty sure this works as intended. Also, this does not only happen when it's raining. It happens all the time.
Blazes shoot (explosive) fire balls. You may be immune to the fire, but not the explosions.
How old is your device you are using? Have you tried turning off Fancy Graphics and turning down your Render Distance? Does your brothers world have a lot of builds or things that would cause lag?
Is auto-jump enabled in your options? Have you tried restarting Minecraft PE?

Ah, right, the dev of PlugPE just said it was a bug with their app.
I used an app called "Plug for Miencraft PE" it's on the AppStore for $1.99 and is the legit most amazing and best commands/server app out there! You can have commands in your single player world and even make your world a server. I did ".g leathercap 64" to get 64 leather caps. I guess I don't really need this to work cuz I did .g leathercap 255 and put them in a chest attached to a hopper which is connected to the dispenser and it doesn't bug out when the armor is dispensed.
I can confirm this is affecting 1.16.20 on iOS.
