I FIXED IT! I right clicked it, went to properties, found compatibility and ran the auto checker, the launcher isn't compatible, so it'll change the settings so that it works.
exactly the same, ive tried everything. nothing works, ive been running mc through a mod launcher which is unreliable and i cant play multiplayer, i really hope mojang fixes this soon.
