I can confirm this is working for me without any workarounds on the latest version from the play store! Thanks everyone!

I have a Kishi v2 and I could not find the controller settings in the menu where it is in @Stormdrum 's screenshot however I was able to follow @BlitzGuitar657 's instructions and I am able to open doors and place blocks now! I really don't like recommending that my friends and family grant the "Accessibility" permission to the app though so hopefully Mojang and fix this soon now that they know about this workaround.

can confirm for 20w15a but only if you use the command

/summon villager ~ ~ ~ {NoAI:1b}

because mobs no longer attack villagers that are Invulnerable

command syntax has changed

/scoreboard teams add Yellow

is now

/team add Yellow

/scoreboard teams join Yellow

is now

/team join Yellow

/summon evocation_illager ~ ~1 ~ {Team:"Yellow"}

is now

/summon evoker ~ ~1 ~ {Team:"Yellow"}

vexes now kill you even when the villager is still alive.
