Nick, this has been happening to me as well. After the update they did to fix a bug, everything has been going down hill. My exp machine keeps breaking, tamed horses, foxes, chicken, donkeys, and many have been disappearing as well. I was okay with it but it keeps happening and it’s taking more and more things away from me. Just today, I was exploring and found my lost donkey with my stuff in his chest. I don’t know if they despawn/disappear or just glitch and teleport somewhere around our world. I’m hoping to find a solution here. Hope the best luck for you and everyone who’s having this problem.
