this is still happening after the most recent update.

This has been partially resolved. Now owners of a world now retain the ability to change game modes, but other operators cannot change their own game mode.

This is not a duplicate problem! The ticket you cited in your response indicates that BOTH players lack the ability to change world settings, but I (the “owner” of the world) retain the ability to change world settings.
