To obtain raw iron you cant use a silk touch iron pickaxe otherwise you will get the block form. Use a regular iron pickaxe.
I have been subscribed to this bug for a VERY long time now..
How is it that it has been marked resolved twice now but not actually resolved ?
From the various videos it isn't hard to reproduce / test?

At this time Minecraft Java appears to be the ONLY audio application / game that I have that has this issue, I am surprised this is classed as a feature request and not a bug. Simply trying to switch to a call on a bluetooth headset will trigger this issue.
Same as OP, they seem to like to fly to the top or corners, and when they grow they pop through blocks.
1.15.1 I have a base beside an ocean and I have been trying to breed up my bees, I could not figure out why the numbers where not increasing..
While most of the time they fly above the water I have observed MANY of them bobbing into the water and killing themselves in the ocean.
There is a lot of kelp just under the surface, not sure if that is relevant but noting it from the past comments.
Mojang has no control over what hypixel does.
