The same thing happens with my Kindle Fire, do you have any idea how to fix this?
Just to close. Successfully used minecart since my work around above.
My resolution: dug hole while in minecart. Logged in as second character and ran over to where I was trapped and filled in with dirt. Logged in as first character. Suffocated. Reconnected and ran to my expire place and collected about 3/4 of my goods. Not sure of issue but wanted to report in case this was more than just me having the issue.
Not sure if this is causing the problem but putting water source from the top of column with Soul Sand at bottom turns the whole column into Source blocks.
