I've always been running minecraft servers with nogui on the command line, and 1.8 is still crashing after a minute or so, complaining a single server tick took 60.00 seconds.
Operating system : Ubuntu 12.04.5, 64bits.
Previous versions ran w/o any problem. I can send the crash report if needed. I do not think the issue is solved.
