Confirmed naming an item, putting anything in the second slot then removing it allows you to rename. It shows the wrong name once you grab the named item, but then will change to the name you entered eventually.
I would randomly get these errors and eventually after wasting an hour of constant trying / waiting, it finally went through. This happens every time and is very frustrating. It does this both on Xbox and PC.
I do have an addon for our world as well. Sometimes when going to edit the realm slot it will randomly complain about not being able to apply content or something like that.
The behavior pack works, but always shows up in the addon as "missing"
This happened to me as well. Eventually I was able to name items again. I don't know if it was just being logged out and then logging in again another day or if it was me downloading the world backup, making changes to my addon and then re-uploading the world.

I am also having this issue with my server that runs Windows 7. I hope they change this so it can be run on Windows 7 machines since my server runs a lot of stuff and would be a huge task to upgrade to Windows 10 and ensure all my services still work.
Did you read the bedrock_server_how_to.html file?

My brother has been having major lag issues and can't even play because anything he does eventually sends him back to the same spot. I had him clear his cache resources and now he can't even join the realm. He is on the PS4.
I did some mining with my family, gathered a bunch of resources then ended up in the spot we were at before we headed out and lost 30 min worth of playing and collecting.
I have not had that happen since and thought maybe it was due to the realm trying to save, which fails and auto restores the last backup? But that doesn't account for when I was watching my brother glitch out and mine seemed fine.
Very frustrating for paying realm users and hope it gets resolved soon.
