I have the same problem, but Marketplace works for me. If you use another device (other than Switch) with your account, you should be able to edit skins. (im not trying to tell you how to fix it idk how. This is just what i did to get around the bug.)
If this is a dupe of an issue, please let me know.
just a guess, but maybe this has something to do with how you can use the screen to navigate menus?
