Thank you for finally seeing this issue. It has been unresolved for almost 2 whole years.

Nope, this is about the giant mushrooms, not trees.
EDIT: And it has nothing to go with the mushrooms generating in stripes, and the snapshot is 13w02b.

EDIT: The last screenshot is when I reloaded the world.
