This Definitely Should Not be occurring, it occurs in all dimensions the overworld, the nether and the end dimension,
I've put over 100 hours to create this world dug over 1mil blocks, and thousands of blocks of tunnels that are currently all screwed up because the wall is either their or not
Sorry too keep adding, i think this is relevant one of the times it happened was in the end dimension I built down to Y level 1 using water and lava then built a 200 block bridge away from the end into the void (Enderman Farm) I passed through the wall about halfway down the bridge, I believe it to be related to "chunk loading" considering almost all my tunnels surpasses 200 block distances
