My boyfriend and I have been playing 20w13b for a while now and we too noticed that the spawn rate for Ghasts is absurdly high. 10-12 at a time and when you kill one, another takes its place. They have become a bit of a nuisance like Phantoms are--not difficult per se, but a nuisance. Equally so the endermens spwan rate seems a bit tall as well. What gets real annoying is when you have a soulsand valley right next to a Warped forest and while you're looking up to shoot one of the dozens of ghasts, you catch the view of 3 enderman.
I think bringing them down a bit may enhance the experience of the Soul Sand Valley. Just an idea.
