Comments

Given the changes to the /weather and /title times commands in 23w03a, perhaps this should be reflected in the title of this bug?

For some reason in 1.19.3 "Armor Stand" does not properly get translated to "Armour Stand" in Canadian or British English. Try "Pirate Speak" in this version to reproduce

I think that commenter is referring to the fact that RtL text is still reversed in text boxes like the chat, even though it shows up properly in the right direction

That version is already marked as affected

No, this is preset specific. Slimes didn't spawn in this preset prior to 1.18

Can confirm in the 1.18 release

The reproduction steps can now be used both pre and post 1.18

Yep. I double checked and indeed they are stored as ints. I wonder why I thought they were stored as strings; perhaps at one point they were or perhaps I misremembered. In any case I don't think there is any possible fix besides changing scoreboards to long (which like you said just moves the issue) or bigint (which would work but comes with its own set of problems).

This kind of inconsistent arithmetic would honestly be worse IMO. Making it a long (or possibly even a bigint since IIRC the scores are stored as strings anyway) would be a much better solution.

The title of this bug should be changed to match that of MC-115414, because as of 21w19a the game actually does recognise the ISO 8601 date format! However, the time settings on my computer are 24 hour time, and the game still displays the time in 12 hour format.

seems to be fixed in 21w11a, at least for redstone ready worlds.

They can already translate their maps with resource packs

Seriously, this should be an accessibility consideration and I am disappointed that I have not received an explanation for this resolution.

Affects 1.16.3. Also, this happens to non invulnerable entities that take damage for more than 5 ticks. One can observe this by summoning an item, changing its Health to 1000s, and setting it on fire for about a second or two.

This issue is definitely invalid not WAI. I renamed a poisonous potato to "Potato" and it still poisoned me. Tails's comment is 100% correct, this is a total misattribution.

Ok so the translation issue existed prior to 1.16. It appears as this bug is fixed in 1.16+ though.

Wait why WAI? I know that there were other things changed to make minecraft less nauseating so what's different about boats?

Should say 1.16.2+, no?

Confirmed in 1.16.1

Also @milkyrayy Piglins and hoglins are not hostile on peaceful difficulty.

Confirmed in 1.16. Likewise, the output of the /help command is no longer translatable.
