@Jarl-Penguin hm, i don't see that being the case, a chest with items ctrl-picked has the same amount of components as one from the creative inventory (7), the only difference is the chest with items has the 'tags' missing.
but that can be caused by other things, like hovering over the item in any inventory aside from the creative one, even in creative mode, it's not a reliable way to tell, particularly when items not having those tags is generally the default state
