It happened to me a third time. I had even nametagged all my new bees, but they still despawned! That's just unacceptable, especially since honeycomb became so important in 1.17... please Mojang, fix this!!!

I also had the problem of bees completely disappearing in 1.17, and it just happened again sometime after I updated my game to 1.17.1. I had bees completely enclosed in a completely closed-off and well lit area, and all my campfires were enclosed in solid blocks and covered with carpets to make sure the bees didn't take damage on them.

But still, they just disappeared all at once. I already had to repopulate the beehives twice, and it just happened for the second time.
