I have the same problem (but on Android, v.1.16.40). When I open the game it sometimes crashes for no reason. But when it opens normally, as it should, and I start playing in my singleplayer world (I don't play on servers or on multiplayers worlds) it crashes every 10/15 minutes. My phone is not connected to wifi but I am logged on my Microsoft account.
I usually don't have internet on my phone, so I used to play in 1.16.1 and had no bugs issues. But I recently connected to wifi and updated to 1.16.40 and it started crashing.
I read it is supposed to be fixed but it is not for me, do someone knows what is happening?
