This same thing happened on my Xiaomi Mi A1 and my sister's iPad Mini 3. Really a dumb issue. Would play for a bit, quit the game, then come back many blocks up in the air above the original world spawn and fall to our deaths, then respawning at our beds and having to go back to the world spawn to get everything back.

Same thing happened to my sister on her iPad Mini 3. Really frustrating, pretty much unplayable.
