MCPE-57257 Swimming/Crawling 'cursor' targets 1 block above Fixed

Comments

Not LAN, but trying to connect to a server with 0/20 users online, it gives the same error (see video).   Happened after I tried logging in and waited a very long time before nothing happened and I closed the app.  Then trying to log back in I got the error.  Nothing weird about how I logged off last time.

The server's on 1.14.1; trying to login via android or Windows 10 doesn't matter, seems to be tied to my account.  This issue has happened on every major release since 1.12.0 for me.  I've been playing with the 1.14.30 install on this server for several days and it was fine.

I believe the server admin needs to boot me to get me back in, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I know this isn't for features/functions, but it'd be really great if there was a way to force-logout of any "open" instances you're in... or at least a time-out for inactivity.

edit: I had more to say

edit2: one more thing...

I posted a video on this issue: MCPE-57257

Same problem, you can't place blocks, interact with anything that the cursor is looking at (trap doors, repeaters, levers, buttons), etc. and attempting to break the block that you're looking at breaks the block over your head.

I know it's not Java and we don't have 1-high tunnels as a fully functional mechanic, but until 1.13.0 we could at least make this work and turn it into a kind of 'feature'.

I noticed this yesterday, too.  Mine was at 16, but now I can select between 5 and 6 chunks.

In 1.13.1, moving up long stretches of stairs will move you VERY quickly and deplete hunger very rapidly.

With autojump off this does not happen.

Same for me in 1.13.1. Worked perfectly in 1.12.

Also noticed droppers won't push items up through blocks (like soul sand) anymore, instead it shoots it out sideways. Not a bug or problem really, just thought it could be relevant.
