Having the same issue on Bedrock, no resource packs used. They don’t show up in hand or on item frames. (the 2 left item frames have recovery compasses on them, the right 2 have standard compasses.) I also have the ‘Hide Hand’ option off so it should show the held item but it isn't. Also playing on the ‘Mounts of Mayhem’ update.
