@redstonehelper This bug has been resolved, however this procedure now causes a ghost filled water bucket instead - without removing the water source (a "Water bucket" that appears full until you attempt to place the water, but the water disappears and the water bucket returns to an empty bucket)
Please return this to the unresolved state 😞 I completed the report so its more descriptive, so it should count now.
Similar to the update to my other report - you commented that its likely caused by the same cause of: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-90022
