John Smith and Zach Ruth, just change your DNS address. I posted a guide in the comments if you are using Windows, and it's pretty easy to Google a tutorial if you are on a Mac.
Changing my DNS address worked for me too! I switched to Google's which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. For those who are on Windows and don't know how here's what you do (I don't know about apple):
Open Control Panel
Go to Network and Internet
Go to Network and Sharing Center
Select Change Adapter Settings
Right click on ethernet or wifi (whichever you are connected to) and select properties
Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 and select properties
Select use the following DNS address and change them to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Hopefully, this works for other people like it worked for me.
Here's what I got:

Unfortunately, I can't switch to the beta version of the launcher since I can't even sign in. Whenever I try to sign in it says that I am offline. However, for anyone else who just wants a temporary fix to play the game until the regular launcher is fixed, download multimc launcher. I did it and it works fine for me. I'll just have to transfer over my saves once the regular launcher is fixed. Here is the link for multimc if anyone else wants to try it: https://multimc.org/
Has anyone tried logging in with an alt account to see if this is somehow an issue affecting our specific Minecraft accounts, and not the launcher? I don't know if this could possibly be the case, but it might be worth checking...
I have the exact same problem as well. I logged out of the game to try and fix this, and not it won't even let me log in. Really wish there was a way to fix this. Before I could at least play offline, but now I can't play at all. I shouldn't have logged out...
Edit: I have attached my launcher log to this comment. Hopefully, this helps and the issue can be resolved, as I would really like to be able to play the game again.
violine1101, I'm not trying to override what you have told us to do, but for those who have signed out and cannot sign back in because of the issue, it is impossible to change the settings to use the beta launcher. It only lets you do that when you are signed in. Unfortunately, the only way for them to sign in like I did is to change their DNS address.
