It doesn't seem to be a problem anymore after restarting the launcher so I am not able to reproduce it anymore it might have been a problem with the launcher which seems weird but it is my only explanation because restarting the game didn't work

It doesn't really because it works the other way(holding down W and then pressing Q) but it might be a similar problem.
Edit: It is also the only action getting canceled(you can jump and throw items for example but only if you first hold down jump and then Q if you do that then it does both at the same
