So you were using a texture pack? they need do get updated to 1.5

This is a duplicate of something I already read (don't know where). It's because of the game buffering the clicks for catching double clicks. Use right-clicks instead

I can confirm this in 13w02a. It works with other craftig recipies too, but only in the 2x2 crafting grid.

Confirmed on snapshot 13w02a, works as well by right-clicking the face of an adjacent wall
