i might try to find more screenshots of 1.16.5 later today and also the time zone doesnt have where i live in the U.S so its early in the morning for me

This is not a duplicate of that because this is about lava not flowing sideways while that one is about lava not flowing from above

This is definitley a bug that effects 1.17 more than 1.16

This seems to be effecting 1.17 more than 1.16. I think the reason for the 1.16 one is a rare sight, while the 1.17 ones are from structures/caves intersecting with lava aquifers.

I wouldn't consider this a duplicate of that because it is mostly about water and the lava wasn't flowing from above a place. While in this one the lava isn't flowing sideways.
