Yo I have the exact same problem. And yes. I used my nintendo switch. It seems as if there is a 90 mb size limit in the world. If it goes over that. The game will delete mobs to make room for buildings you make. At least that's my theory. Mogiang please correct this and me if my theory is wrong. Because I lost a lot of progress in my survival world because of this.
